A Perfect Winter’s Day is the title of this photo (above left) submitted by Jim Pascoe as Rum Jungle, a Riviera 40FB, moored on Port Phillip Bay in Victoria. Jim says after a great winter’s day fishing on a beautiful flat bay, they were treated to this beautiful sunset before heading back to the marina. Cheryl Lamb shows (above right) that sunrises can be just as beautiful as sunsets. Titled Sunday Morning Sunrise, the photo of the 47 Enclosed Flybridge, Cheeky Blue II, was taken at Broadhurst Reef while on a weekend fishing trip on Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef. |
It’s moments like these when a picture is worth a thousand words. Winter Sunsets by Riv is the title of this photo submitted by Andrew Zuschmann aboard ITSABUOY, a Riviera 480E. The setting was Cockle Bay Marina in Sydney’s Darling Harbour and Andrew assures us no filter was necessary. |

The tranquil waters of Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne set the scene for this photo [left], Winter in Melbourne, submitted by Tracey Pascoe. It was taken aboard Rum Jungle, a Riviera 40FB, late on a winter’s day. It was a close encounter for those aboard Sea La Vie [image on the right], a Riviera 52EB, and a delightful one at that. Braydon Winch shared this photo taken early in the whale season at Platypus Bay, off Fraser Island, Queensland. “A pair of whales came up right beside the boat early one morning while we were anchored. They played around us for quite a while,” says Braydon. |
This video titled Curious Humpback Whales and submitted by Stuart Mckay sums up the magic of Living the Dream on your Riviera. It was taken aboard Gnarly, a Riviera 42 Flybridge, near Rottnest Island in Western Australia. “On the way back from Rotto we saw some humpback whales ahead, so shut down motors and they came up to the boat for a look at us,” says Stuart. |
This stunning sunset was captured at Moon Point on Hervey Bay, Queensland, aboard Living the Dream, a Riviera 52 Flybridge. Thanks to Mike Bolton for sharing it. |
