Call for entries to our Riviera owners’ photo competition

The Riviera Owners’ Photo and Video Competition is welcoming its first entries for 2021.

With the holidays over for another year, there’s no better time to share your Riviera experiences with the rest of the Riviera family to perfectly illustrate how life is always better on a Riviera.

A Riviera prize pack is awarded to the best photo or video submitted.

To get you inspired, here are some of the latest entries in this month’s competition. The winner will be announced in the next month.

Another magnificent day on the water aboard the brilliantly named Ratha-B, a Riviera 54 Flybridgde. Thanks to Glenda Parker for submitting this photo titled Beautiful Anchorage, taken at Kingfisher Bay, Fraser Island, on the southern Queensland coast.

The summer of 2020 in the US in the San Juan Islands of Washington state provided the perfect backdrop for SummerSalt II, a 575 SUV heading out for a post-lockdown cruise. Thanks to Laurie Heilmann for submitting the entry.

The reflection of Platinum Days, a Riviera 43 Flybridge is unmistakably made in crystal cool waters of Tasmania. Thanks to Vicki Connor for submitting this photo, and the clever title, Riv-flections. It was taken in the shelter of Quarantine Bay at Bruny Island, just south of Hobart. Vicki describes the scene as an early morning weekend spent relaxing and reflecting.

Simon Irwin submitted this photo titled Sunset Silhouette, featuring Pacific Dream III, a 39 Platinum, moored on the tranquil waters of Lake Macquarie in NSW.

“This sunset shot was taken during a recent seven-day stay on our most excellent vessel,” says Simon. “My first mate and I took a circuit breaker week after a long 2020 and this shot captures the experience on our Riv. Not sure I could think of a better way to unwind and refresh than on a Riviera and our Pacific Dream III fits that bill just nicely.”

Thanks to Joe Boiano for this photo of another serene scene aboard a Riviera motor yacht. Sorrento, a Riviera 2000 Platinum, is describe here by Joe as ‘our beautiful girl tucked away on the Hacking NSW’. That’s Port Hacking, of course, on a lazy winter’s day in June.

There was an air of excitement for Scott Sach as he took this photo on the boat delivery run from Sanctuary Cove to Mackay. Just in Time for Christmas is the title of the photo of the 48 Offshore Express, PlayStation, taken west of the Percy Islands.  

“The further north, the better the waters and we could not think of a better vessel in which to do this ‘offshore-express’ run,” says Scott.

It may look like a face-off, but it’s the epitome of togetherness as Kryptonite (left), a 39 Convertible, and Whole Life, a 40 Convertible, drift just off Laguna Beach. Jim McNamara submitted this photo taken on a sunny southern Californian November morning. “Calm seas and warm sunshine made for a beautiful cruise filled with friends, including a great dolphin show!” says Jim.

“It’s great to see our five-year-old son’s excitement when he gets a fish on his rod,” says Belinda McLeod, whose entry this month is titled Family Fun on the Riv 48. The photo was taken aboard the 48, Calypso, at Forster in the heart of the spectacular Great Lakes region north of Sydney on the NSW coast.

Perth City Night Lights is the title of this photo of Kia Ora, a Riviera 3850, moored near Elizabeth Quay on the Swan River. Lisa Saul shares this photo which was taken by friends on a beautiful evening in the Western Australian capital.
