Riviera owners’ top photos of 2020

The Riviera family this year shared many inspiring images in the Riviera and Belize Owners Photo and Video competition.

With the holiday season fast approaching, and as we head into the new year, it’s a great time to look back at our top photos of 2020.

As always, the theme of our monthly competition is to demonstrate how life is always better on your Riviera.

That can include the exhilaration of cruising at wide-open throttle on an open sea, relaxing on the cockpit at sunset watching the world go by or anything in between that brings joy to the Riviera family.

Remember to submit your photos and videos over the holidays for next month’s competition so we can share them.

This amazing action shot taken by Nigel Ollett epitomises nature at her playful best. The photo, titled Morning Play, was taken aboard L’epicier, a Riviera 525 SUV, at Great Barrier Island in New Zealand’s Hauraki Gulf near Auckland.

Togetherness the Riviera way is the theme for this photo, taken by Simon Irwin, a proud owner of a Riviera 39 Flybridge. This fun-filled raft-up with friends on the Myall Lakes in NSW was taken during the Christmas holidays last year and highlights the friendships shared through boating.

Sam Tapping’s photo of his Riviera 37 Flybridge, Mantary 2, off Tasmania’s Maria Island was taken just before this year’s lockdown. The family was heading south to Hobart and spent the night in the calm waters of Chinamans Bay.

Family is at the heart the Goetze family’s life aboard their Riviera 42 Flybridge, Rivive. Kasey Goetze submitted this winning photo of her children Indi, 7, and Ari, 3, while they were enjoying a weekend away at Blakesley’s Slip off North Stradbroke Island in south-east Queensland.

Cheryl Lamb caught this magical moment while on a weekend fishing trip on Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef. The photo Cheeky Blue II, a Riviera 47 Enclosed Flybridge, was taken at Broadhurst Reef off the coast near Townsville.

The blue waters of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef come to life in this photo submitted by Neil O’Sullivan. It captures High Voltage, a Riviera 43 Flybridge, on a perfect day for diving on a swing moor at Bait Reef near Airlie Beach.
