The team at Riviera is delighted with the feedback from the recent European boat show season and the strong expansion of the company’s representation in the region.
Riviera International Sales Director Chris McCafferty said: “Our representatives are excited by the level of enthusiasm from the many visitors to our showcases at the Cannes and Barcelona shows.”
Riviera and our long-term representative in France, Villanova Ship, were joined by our new Spanish representative, Yachting Spain, at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September where the company’s brilliant 68 Sports Motor Yacht was centrepiece of a two-model red-carpet display that also included the sophisticated Riviera 5400 Sport Yacht.
Chris McCafferty said: “Our new Sports Motor Yachts are now gaining significant international interest and our entire team was excited by the level of feedback from both of the motor yachts on display in Cannes with people commenting on Riviera’s elegant designs and high quality finish.
“The Riviera 68 Sports Motor Yacht and the sophisticated 5400 Sport Yacht are brilliant examples of Riviera’s constant refinement across our 19 models in five individual collections.”
The Riviera team, along with Villanova Ship and Yachting Spain, hosted a red-carpet cocktail party at the Festival marina on the Saturday evening of the show.
“The event was another opportunity for our team to thank our loyal and enthusiastic Euopean Riviera Family members,” said Mr McCafferty. “Everyone enjoyed the delicious food and fine wines served throughout the evening.”
In October, Yachting Spain proudly represented Riviera to showcase the luxurious 68 Sports Motor Yacht at Salon Nautico, the Barcelona International Boat Show in Port Vell.
Yachting Spain Principal Dimitri Feytit De Haro said: “Our team was proud to bring this magnificent Sports Motor Yacht to the Salon Nautico show in the heart of Barcelona.
“The Riviera collections brilliantly combine sport fishing capabilities with Riviera’s renowned cruising in luxurious comfort. We are looking forward to strong growth through 2019.”

Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst said: “The Cannes Yachting Festival has always been very successful for us and both Villanova Ship and Yachting Spain are invaluable to our efforts as the European market continues to grow. We will deliver a number of new yachts to Europe, including a blue water 45 Open Flybridge and a new sporty and adventurous 445 SUV, early in the new year. These models, along with others to be announced shortly, will then be on display at next year’s boat shows.”
