Glenelg, South Australia – Over 120 South Australian Riviera owners celebrated a successful 2016 in Adelaide, with Riviera’s 2016 Dealership of the Year R Marine South Australia hosting a drinks night at their Glenelg headquarters.
On display on the marina and available for inspection were two luxurious new Rivieras – an adventurous 525 SUV and a stylish 4800 Sport Yacht – both of which were new models joining the ever-growing South Australian Riviera fleet.
R Marine South Australia dealer principal Paul Harrop said that other models joining the fleet for the first time in 2016 were the 52 Enclosed Flybridge, 43 Open Flybridge (Series II) and the Riviera 3600 Sport Yacht.
“We also welcomed many new members to the Riviera Family who in 2016 purchased pre-loved yachts are now enjoying all the relaxing and rewarding benefits of a luxury Riviera,” he said.
The Riviera 445 SUV remains the most popular Riviera model in South Australian waters, with three new models being purchased through the Glenelg dealership in 2016, bringing the number of 445 models in South Australia to 16.
Mr Harrop said that among the highlights for 2016 were the Port Lincoln Experience at Easter which set a then-Australian record raft-up with 24 luxurious Rivieras, as well as the Port Lincoln Tuna Classic and the very well-attended Riviera Overnighter at Adelaide On-Water Boat Show.
“We have a very active and friendly Riviera Family in South Australia and we are all revved up for 2017,” he said.
