The winning photo this month has been submitted by Kasey Goetze who has perfectly captured the joy of owning a Riviera.
The photo of her children Indi, 7, and Ari, 3, aboard the family’s Riviera 42 Flybridge, Rivive, was taken at Blakesley’s Slip off North Stradbroke Island in south-east Queensland on a cruise experience with other Riviera owners hosted by R Marine Jones.
“We try to get out as much as we can on our Riviera and the kids just love it,” says Kasey. “We have wonderful group of friends and we often head out together for raft ups of our own as well.”
There’s no denying Kasey and her husband Trent are experienced members of the Riviera Family. Rivive is the fifth Riviera they have owned, having previously enjoyed a Riviera 34, 37, 3350 and 4000. The couple cruised Rivive solo from Mackay to her new homeport in Brisbane three years ago.
Kasey says life on a Riviera has become a complete family affair now that the kids are old enough to appreciate it.
“They love jumping off the back of the boat and, when we anchor overnight, they set up their cabin really cutely with their sleeping bags. We have linen for the beds, but they prefer their pink and blue sleeping bags.”
